later i attendedpendleton hogh school and at 18 went on to study at cheshire county t.c. crewe. I have worked in farnworth, bolton and manchester, before coming to fleetwood in 1973
i am married to eric and have one son and two grand children who live in great eccleston.
i have alwaysw been interested in the "arts" and worked with many groups of children in various local festiavals.
my main brush with fame was spending a week with prif. glynn edwards, a master puppeteer, where i learnt to use a swazzle and then performed a punch and judy show.
i was once on the stage at the opera house with leslie crowther do you remember the price is right? i only won a t. shirt.
playing the uke has given me the joy of working as part of a team and made me aware of the kindness of human nature.
i am sure we all would like to say a big thank you to alan who arrives very early with the equipment to set up. after ironing out any problems and keeping a watchful eye on performers,he has then to dismantle and pack away many heavy items.
